Self reflection is the process of bringing attention to what’s happening in your life. By making time to reflect, you can have more awareness and have a greater connection to yourself. The best time for me to do this is at the end of the year. I’m a little late posting this. Because life. Okay, so I used some inspiration from Galadarling.com (whom I greatly admire) and a few other websites to put this list of questions together for us. I would LOVE for you answer these questions for yourself so you can experience the power of reflection. Let me know if you do because I’d love to read your answers. I’ll go first!
What was your proudest accomplishment (s)?
Having the courage to honor myself and my dreams by making significant changes in my life
What was your biggest challenge?
Feeling the fear and stress while in execution mode, but doing i anyway. When things were uncertain, I kept hold of my faith and my vision and kept plowing forward.
What was the greatest lesson (s) you learned?
I want to dedicate a separate Blog post for this beauty because shit got real in 2018
What was the one “Holy Shit” I can’t believe I did that moment?
When I decided to sell my Home and move to a different State.
What were some of your favorite TV Shows?
My favorite TV show was “The marvelous Mrs. Maisal” on Netflix. She’s a total badass girl who is separated from her husband, has two kids and trying to become a stand up comedian in 1958.
What habits have served you well?
Knowing how to use Numbers. It’s a program for Apple users that is the equivalent to Microsoft Excel. I swear, you can organize your entire life using Spreadsheets. I SWEAR by them!!
What new things did you discover about yourself?
I learned that I can be scared, but I will still come out swinging in life. I realize that with prayer and faith, I can do all things!
What places did you visit in 2018?
2018 was soooo busy but I did manage to squeeze in some trips to: Carlsbad, CA-visit Brother, Tallahassee, FL-tour College, LA-Disney Land, Alabama-moved Daughter into College, Alabama-two more times to visit, a Cruise to Virgin Islands, Vegas-Investor’s Conference, Sacramento-Visit Aunt, Vegas again-have Fun.
What book or movie affected your life in a profound way?
Money Master the Game by Tony Robbins!!! It’s one thing to learn how to make money-but learning how to invest it in the market is a different beast.
What was the best compliment that you received this year?
My girlfriends will sometimes write me the sweetest notes on cards. My friend Mary wrote a note telling me that she was in complete awe of me and that she is proud to know me. I mean…
What did you think about more than anything else?
I moved twice in 2018. I kept thinking that I couldn’t wait to get my final move over with so I could get settled in Florida. Moving is a real bitch guys.
What topics did you most enjoy learning about?
I loved learning about investing money. Its a high for me.
What had the biggest positive impact on your life this year?
Doing my morning devotionals. I use this time to pray, ask for guidance and absorb the word of God.
What did you do in 2018 that you’ve never done before?
I Moved out of State. I mean-Dayuuuum.
What major goal did you lay the foundation for?
By selling off a huge part of my RE Biz, I am free to pursue my goal of getting my book published, doing more writing and helping more people
Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions and will you make new ones for 2019?
I actually did for the most part! However, I wanted to learn spanish- never happened. Hell yeah, I’ll be adding that to my 2019 list of goals because – I’m determined to learn it.
What was the best thing you bought?
I didn’t buy much of anything in 2018. I sold a bunch of shit-does that count?
Compared to this time last year, are you happier or more sadder?
Uhhh, so much happier! I’ve always hated living in a cold climate. Its pretty much mid 80 degrees during the winters here in Florida. Not bragging at all, but its warmer here and I love it!

What do you wish you had done more of?
I wish I had journaled more in 2018. It was a crazy year, but sometimes its those crazy years that you want to look back on and read what you were thinking. I did some journaling, but wish I had done more.
What do you wish you had done less of?
Less worrying, of course.
What did you do on your Birthday?
I was in California visiting my Aunt on my Birthday. She survived breast cancer-so it was a nice treat to spend my Birthday with her.
What are you most grateful for this past year?
I’m grateful that God kept me steady during some major transitions in my life this past year. He said trust me, and so I did. The end.
