Spring 2013 Fashion in the snow?

Happy Wednesday girls!

I hope you are enjoying your week so far.  In the last few months I have felt myself growing.  I believe we all go through stages of growth and at different times.  I am embracing this opportunity but I want to point something out to you.  It is when we push ourselves into an area of being uncomfortable that growth actually takes place.

I heard a saying once.  “If you want to have something you’ve never had before, you have to become someone you’ve never been before”.  Only you know what areas of your life you need to improve or want to change.  I encourage you to think about what you can do right now to create that change you want to see.  And if you find yourself feeling uncomfortable, chances are…you are probably right on track.

Now, on to the fashion….

Well I’m sure you know by now that we had 3 inches of snow this past Monday.  Even though its spring time, I seized this opportunity to stay warm using a Betsy Johnson hat and scarf.

Can I just tell you, when I was putting this outfit together, I started with the berry colored skinny jeans and I scanned my closet to see what color would look best with them.  The neon green color caught my eye so I pulled it.  I had no idea this scarf and hat were waiting for me in the hall closet downstairs with the exact same color scheme.  That’s what I love about color.  Once you learn what colors compliment each other, you will start seeing those same color combinations being used by Fashion Magazines, Fashion and Interior Designers, and even nature.  Fascinating!

  1. Hi Diamond,

I do not know if I can wear any of the stuff you are modeling, but the advise on the top of your blog was a nice one. I like your advise to push oneself to do things we would not do.

    See u… Miss you…..

    1. Thanks Kaan! Love the feedback and thanks for reading.
