Hi Girls and Happy Friday!
The weekend is here and I’m excited. My kids are out of school for spring break and we are about to have some fun. This year they have worked so hard in school that I surprised them with a cruise vacation. I hope to create some memories together with them that they can remember for a lifetime. I know life can get really busy sometimes. Trust me. But its important to force ourselves to carve out the time to bond with our family and friends. I have so many projects going on right now so to take time off was not easy. I’m actually feeling anxious about not having access to the internet or the use of a telephone. But deep down inside, I know its exactly what I need.
I have to remind myself that when its all said and done, I’m not going to wish I completed more projects. I’m not going to wish I was more successful. I’m not going to wish I made more money. What I’m going to wish is that I spent more time with the people I love the most. I highly recommend that you figure out what you need to do more of, and do it. There’s never a “right” time to have quality time with those you love. You have to steal it!
Now on to the fashion….
Today, I am embracing the last few days of winter by introducing one of the hottest colors in season. OxBlood. I looked high and low for the perfect leather oxblood skirt. I was so excited to put it on. I paired with this thin, cropped sleeve floral sweater. I wanted a large pattern to compliment the bold color of the skirt.
The twisted gold flower necklace is the type of piece that you wither love it, or hated. I LOVE IT! I bought this necklace in Barbados years ago and the love affair is still going strong. Suede teal boots add a nice anchor to complete the look.
