Chevron Print and Levian Topaz

Hi Girls and Happy Monday!

I hope you had an awesome weekend.  Mine was packed full of work, kids and Easter stuff.   Not sure if I ever mentioned it, but I LOVE to read.  I read all kinds of stuff.  My current read is The 7 habits of highly effective teens by Sean Covey.  I think this is such a great book for teenagers and I’m making my son read it.

A particular sentence caught my eye.  It read… “the deepest need of the human heart is to be understood”.  I got to thinking, you know what; this is so true.  Above anything else, each and every one of us wants to know that someone else truly understands our pain, our joys, our frustration, our journey.

Then I started thinking some more.  Uh oh.  Here I go…..When you think about it, this is probably one of the key reasons why we choose the mate that we choose.  Because somewhere along the line, this person “gets you” more than anyone else.  This connection or this feeling of being understood, represents a certain inner peace that can be associated with the same emotions we call love.  Even if you take love out of it, everyone wants to be respected and valued for who they are.

Now, on to the fashion…

Today’s outfit was inspired by the need to be comfortable.  I pulled this chevron print top by Bebe from my closet and paired it with black zippered leggings from Neiman Marcus.

This Levian Blue Topaz and Chocolate Diamond bracelet and ring take this comfy outfit to whole different level.  But that’s the power of Levian.

Abs.

    3. Nice post Nishant. To be honest, my comments hardly land into spam. That’s because I never do such things which influence the comment to be kicked into the spam! And if it’s a new blog, well the comments are, of course, under moderation and I just see that message…So I know that it’s not spam.CheersRaaj Trambadia recently posted..

    4. I love this anthology. Great settings, many steeped in the folklore of my favorite music. James Lee Burke's contribution stands taller than the rest, but I enjoyed all the tales.

    7. I wonder what supplementation with Vitamin D3 would do for lupus. It seems to help other autoimmune diseases. Even though your Mum is outdoors a lot, it has been reported by Dr. Tourgeman, a Nephrologist in South Florida that almost all of his patients are deficient in Vit D3.
