Keller Williams Red Day 2013

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope all the moms of the world had a truly wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday.  My kids and I spent the day at the National Museum of Art in DC.  I wish I could tell you that they learned about art and culture and all the history behind it, but that was undeniably not the case. Why?  Because they are kids and that’s just how it goes – LOL  But it was Mother’s Day and in keeping with the tradition of being a parent, I exposed them to things they wanted no part of.  I will blog more about that on Wednesday.  I even have photos that will be sure to amuse.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity of volunteering for Red Day.  Every year Keller Williams Realty hosts “Red Day” (Renew, Energize and Donate).  Its an initiative dedicated to honoring Keller Williams Realty’s commitment to improve our local community.  Although I don’t frequent my office that much anymore, I always try to put time on my calendar to show up and help out for this event.  This year our office volunteered at the Manassas Health and Rehab Center.

I would like to thank the beautiful and strong Allene Murray for coordinating and setting up this event.  Everyone, meet Allene (pictured Below)Pic1

I love my fellow KW agents.  Even though I don’t get to see them often, I cherish the times when we get together.

Okay, below is Betty.  Betty is hilarious.  SO here’s how it went.  Me:Hey Betty, would you like to paint a bird house? Betty:What the hell I’m gonna paint a bird house for, I don’t even like damn birds – LOL.  This is why I love blogging.  There is always something interesting to tell you about.  Seriously, she cracked me up!  Keep keepin it real Betty!

Below is Dorothy.  She is as sweet as the day is long.  I wanted to adopt her as my Grandmother.  She painted this birdhouse for her grandson Chris.  I hope he enjoys it at much as she enjoyed making it for him.

And lastly, below is my girl Kathy Norton.  She always has a smile and hug for me when I see her.  I need to spend more time with her because I always leave her presence feeling better than when I came.  Love you Kathy!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post.  Until the next time, Dress Fierce, Be Creative and Inspire Someone.

Big hugs and thanks for reading.
