Karen Millen ruffles and Levian Rhodalite

Good Monday Morning!

Not sure if I have ever mentioned this, but sometimes I have a hard time relaxing.  My brain won’t stop and I keep thinking about all the things that I need to get done.  But that’s not how this weekend went at all because I took some much needed time off.  I visited some quaint shops in Culpeper, VA which I will blog about this Wednesday.  I also went for brunch in Georgetown DC, followed by my favorite activity in the world – SHOPPING.

I had so much fun picking out some beautiful pieces for the remaining days of spring and into the summer.   I even found a few bargains on some things for the fall.  By the way, now is a great time to buy any jackets or sweaters for the fall.  Everything is on SALE! Oh, and this is also a great time to buy boots too.  A few stores that have great deals going on right now are Urban Outfitters (50% of sale), BCBG, and Karen MIllen.

Well, that’s What I was up to this weekend.  I hope you had a fun weekend too.

Now, on to the fashion…..

I wore this event to a party not long ago.  I love going to parties!  I welcome any excuse to get dressed up.  This is a Karen Millen dress.  If you haven’t heard of this designer, oh my gosh, you are missing out.  She designs her clothing with a woman’s curves in mind.  Each piece is so feminine and structured.

I paired this dress with a Levian Rhodalite necklace for a splash of color and ultra elegance

I don’t get many opportunities to wear this Roberto Cavalli fur mainly because its purple.  However, this gray strapless dress was the perfect backdrop for her

  1. Wow! So much fits in side a little bag =). I used to use bare minerals alone, but that kind of fell by the wayside because I di3#9nd&;t like the color oxidation. Maybe in summer I'll pick it up again. I love the clinique toner; and I'm lemming after your Chanel powder and creme de nude lipstick!
